John E. Siedlarz

John E. Siedlarz is a co-founder and the Chairman and CEO of the National Biometric Security Project. The NBSP is chartered to facilitate the adoption of biometric technology as a critical component for security of the national civil infrastructure. John was formerly the Chairman of the International Biometric Industry Association (IBIA), which he helped co-found and was a frequent spokesman for the industry. He was also the business founder and President and CEO of IriScan, Inc., now Iridian Technologies, Inc., from start-up in 1993 through 2000. Earlier, John founded and managed other companies in the security systems and integration industry after leaving an Air Force career where he led programs focused on design and integration of advanced security technology, including biometrics, in defense applications.

Mr. Siedlarz has a B.S. in Public Administration from the University of Arizona.
